What is a QR code?
A QR code, or Quick Response code, is a two-dimensional barcode that can be read by most smartphones, including iPhone, Android, Windows Phone, BlackBerry, Symbian and all other major mobile phones. This technology was invented in 1994 by Toyota to track vehicle parts in Japan, however, QR codes are now most often used to direct people to information on their mobile phones.
